What fishing equipment will I need?

We provide a selection of quality rods and reels fully rigged for your convenience and ready for targeting various fish species.
You will also have the choice of a variety of quality hooks, lines and sinkers and all the equipment you need for the perfect catch.
Bait will be supplied for estuary and reef fishing. For deep sea fishing we generally include trolling for bait fish. We also have a wide selection of lures.

The vessel is fully equipped with all the latest fish finding technologies and is skippered and crewed by seasoned recreational fishing professionals.

What type of trips are available?

We offer half day, full day and private charter trips to suit all requirements with a maximum of 7 people fishing.

Am I going to catch a fish for dinner?

Fishing is called fishing, not catching. I cannot guarantee you will catch fish, but I will take you to the spots I know there is fish and where I have caught many fish.
It is up to you as the fisherman to hook and land that fish. As the skipper and very experienced fisherman I can only do everything I know to assist you in every way to get the fish in the boat.

What fish we will catch?

The Pacific Ocean off Qld’s Sunshine Coast has a reputation for its diverse marine species with some of the best fishing grounds in Australia. We take you to locations where the fish are biting aided by years of local fishing knowledge and fish finding technologies. As every fisherman knows, time-of-day, season & weather can have an impact fish availability. As with any sports, the fun is in the challenge! All fish are subject to legal length & bag limit.

Some of the species you can expect to catch are:
River/Estuary – Bream, Flathead, Mulloway, Tailor, Whiting, Blue Swimmer Crabs
Out on the Reefs:  Mulloway, Moses Perch, Pearl Perch, Snapper, Teraglin, many reef species, and occasionalKingfish, Tuna & small Marlin Through to the deep sea: Kingfish, Dolphin Fish (Mahi Mahi), Spanish Mackeral, Marlin, Morwong, Shark, Trevally, Tuna

Do you catch fish all the time?

As we all know, some days, not very many days, all the planets do not line up and we do a lot of fishing and no catching. Even the best fisherman in the best spots in the world don’t catch fish on these days. As a charter operator I will do my best to find you a fish on these days.

What weather conditions do we fish in?

We fish in most conditions, including rain. Fish don’t mind getting wet!
As a skipper if I feel the conditions are unsafe and unsuitable for fishing to produce a catch I have the right to cancel, and a full refund will be provided.

What is your refund policy for weather conditions?

All advance booking require a deposit of 50% to secure your date.

Groups of 4 or more  – 14 Days notice required
Groups of 1 – 3 –  7 Days notice required

Should your trip be cancelled due to sea and weather conditions and is not rescheduled your deposit is fully refunded.

How long are gift vouchers valid for?

All gift vouchers expire after twelve months from date of issue unless stated otherwise.
